There but for the grace of God go I
After a long struggle with opiate addiction, Katie Brundage lost her battle on Sunday March 27, 2016. Katie was a passionate, fearless and unconditional lover of those less fortunate, always rooting for the underdog. Katie's biggest fans are parents, Jerry and Melody (Alford), her sister Hannah, the love of her life Will Conklin, and her children, Mickey, Girdle and Beau, her grandparents, Harold and Marion Alford, Jim and Madeline Brundage; Aunts and Uncles, Jimmy and Anita Brundage, Sue and Joanne Pepe-Brundage, Gary and Linda Brundage, Richie Brundage, Steve and Michelle Brundage, Sandee and Kenny Prickett, Maxine Clift, Michael Alford, Candie Rezucha, Darlene and Jerry Earley, Kevin and Connie Alford, Kim and Lisa Alford, Jill Alford-Hammitt and Mark Killmeier, Missi Andrews and Dana Sloan. Faithful friends Bernadette and Sonnie Day, Krista Gibbons, Lilly Clarke, Nicole Paixao, Jim Mack, Becka Hazen, Sara Luce, her very special friend, Clay Relyea, and many loving cousins. Katie's cousins were her closest friends and she cherished their time together. Katie loved the City of Binghamton; she was intelligent, witty, and complex. She had a special way with words and her favorite pastime was sharing her views and opinions on Facebook. Celebrate Katie by voting for Bernie, #FeeltheBern.. Katie you deserved more and the world was a better place with you in it; you were one of a kind. We love you always. A Mass of Episcopalian Celebration will take place at Christ Episcopal Church, 10 Henry St., Binghamton on Friday at 1 p.m. Mother Elizabeth Ewing, her Rector, will officiate.
