Thomas F. Vill, 74 of Binghamton passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Grace and Frank Vill; his sister, Martha Vill and nephew, Matt Stempora. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Georgia Vill; his children, Daniel Vill. Michael Vill, Karen Vill, Patricia Vill, Andrew Vill, James Vill; 7 grandchildren, Jasmine, Mason, Lily, Cullen, Kayleigh, Miranda and Violet; his sister, Kathryn and Joseph Stempora; niece, Rachel Watkins; very dear friends, Al Hebbard, Joe Maughan, Tom Talbot and many other friends and family. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton. Tom was a retired English Teacher at the Binghamton High School retiring after 37 years of teaching. He was a graduate of Harpur College. He loved golf, bowling and his family. He was an avid NY Giants and Syracuse University fan. He was a great husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church,. Highland Avenue, Binghamton, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 4-6 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Tom may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church Sanctuary Refurbishment Fund, 1 Aquinas Street, Binghamton, NY 13905.
