James F. Roehm, 82, of Vestal, died Thursday January 14, 2016 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis Dwyer Roehm, Vestal; his children, Michael and Susan Roehm, Utica, Mary Ellen Egan, Binghamton, Kathleen and David Shivy, Endwell, Patrick Roehm, Vestal; seven grandchildren, Jennifer and Zachary Smith, Shannon and Brian Holtslag, Sean and Amber Egan, Erin Egan, Patrick and Viki Egan, Ryan Shivy, Megan Shivy; three great grandchildren, Payton and Connor Holtslag, Rosalynn Smith; several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Sister M. Bernardus Dwyer I.H.M., Patricia Dwyer, Sally Paniccia. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Blessed Sacrament Church, Vestal, where he was an usher, lector and member of the Men's Club. He was a graduate of St. Paul's High School and Niagara University. He was a member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Peter T. Campon Council #206 and a member of the 4th Degree Assembly. Jim retired from the IBM Corporation and was past president of the Quarter Century Club. He was a US Army Veteran, member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians and a private tax consultant. "TOP OF THE MORNING TO YOU!" A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Vincent dePaul Blessed Sacrament Church, Clubhouse Rd., Vestal, on Tuesday at 10am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, on Monday from 4-7pm. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Jim may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Blessed Sacrament Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, 165 Clifton Blvd., Vestal, NY 13850.
