Joseph F. Mollen, Jr., died Wednesday, November 18th at the age of 99. Born on July 18, 1916 in Binghamton to Joseph and Anna Mollen. Joe was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Marion. He is survived by his children, Margaret and Gary Carll, Joseph and Rosanne Mollen, Michele and Bill Quinn, Jack and Bonnie Mollen, Judy and Mark Stevens, Patricia and Dennis Manning; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Binghamton, It's Holy Name Society and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. Joe graduated from NYU with an Engineering Degree and was retired from IBM. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Highland Ave., Binghamton on Friday December 4, 2015 at 10am. Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Silver Lake, PA. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, on Friday December 4, 2015 from 8:30am until 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, please do an act of kindness for an elderly person in his honor.
