Mr. Bowen was one of my favorite teachers at Jennie F Snapp. I was in his class in the late 1970's. He was also my friend as an adult and he told us to call him "Uncle Eddie"
I remember hi. As always funny and very interesting. I also had the pleasure of knowing "his bride", who was a lovely person. He would give us Reeds in class, his favorite candy I assume because he always had them. I work at Wegmans and would see him shopping on occasion. He will be deeply missed by me but, will always have a special place in my heart. I am deeply sorry for your loss. I also thought that he was the "bees knees".
