Obituary of Rosemary Newton

Rosemary (Crimmins) Newton of Windsor, NY and Myrtle Beach, SC, died in her husband's arms on Tuesday, June 15, 2015 following a long illness. She weathered her illness with dignity and grace. She was 69 years old. Rosemary graduated from BGH School of Nursing in 1966. Throughout her long and fulfilling nursing career, her compassion, dedication and humor were treasured by peers, patients and families. While in her teens, she lost both of her parents, John and Mary Crimmins. She was also predeceased by her father-in-law, Charles Newton and uncle, William Kelleher, Sr. She leaves behind to miss her and mourn her passing, her husband of 48 years, Darrell Newton; her mother-in-law, Betty Newton; maternal aunt, Beverly Kelleher; sisters-in-law, Christy Newton, Jeralyn Kiehl and many other relatives and many dear friends. At Rosemary's request, there will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Court Street, Binghamton, Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
