Obituary of Margaret H. Manning

Manning, Margaret Helen 75, of Rehobeth Beach, DE, died peacefully at home after a long, courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Binghamton, NY and was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Margaret Aftuck; her brother, Michael Aftuck. She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Manning of 49 years; her son, Michael Manning and his wife, Theresa and grandsons, Zachary and Nathan of Ashland, VA; her son, David Manning and his wife, Sherry and her daughter, Maria Tambascio of Binghamton, NY; her brother, Edward Aftuck of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and many nieces and nephews. She retired from IBM Owego after 22 years and moved to Rehobeth Beach, DE, where she enjoyed many years at the beach and fishing and boating with Sam and her family. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church, Chenango St., Binghamton, Saturday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday from 6-8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Peg may be made to Tunnel Cancer Center, Lewes, DE 19917.
