Armstrong, Bernadette Binghamton: Bernadette Armstrong, 50, passed away at home on Friday, March 22, 2013. She is survived by her children, Nicole and Timothy Armstrong; grandchildren, Mohammand, Aalyah, and Rasheed Aziz, Sundiata Abdullah, James Armstrong; her sister, Tyra Grant; a host of stepbrothers and stepsisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends, and her extended family, Mr. Anthony Fischetti and William Britt, Brooklyn, NY, Ollie Grant, Shanequa Grant, Devrian Grant, and Latifa Grant. I'm free - Don't grieve for me now I'm free I'm following the path God has laid, you see I took His hand where I heard Him call I turned my back and left it all God wanted me now, He set me free Bernadette was a member of the South Brooklyn S.D.A. Church, Brooklyn, NY, and The Pathfinders and AYS Society. She was an employee of the Broome Developmental Center, Binghamton. Funeral services were held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, on Sunday, March 24, at 2:00 p.m.
