Obituary of Judith M Bakanowski

Bakanowski, Judith M. Binghamton: Judith M. Bakanowski, 69, of Binghamton, died peacefully Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at her home. She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas Cudihy, Mariam and Norman Kayser; her in-laws, Fran and Frank Bakanowski; and her sister and brother-in law, Pat and Jim Brady. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Peter Bakanowski, Binghamton; her children, Traci Bakanowski, Binghamton, Staci and Rick Dugan, Virginia Beach, VA, Peter and Rachel Bakanowski, Minneapolis, MN; six grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Erin, Reagan, Nora and Henry; two brothers, Thomas Cudihy and John Cudihy; stepsister, Gretchen and Martin Fallon; sister-in-law, Barbara and Francis Michalek; and several nephews and nieces. She was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton. Judith was a beautician in the area for many years. A Funeral Mass will be offered at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Binghamton, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. The family will receive friends at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Monday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Judith may be made to Lourdes Hospice Program, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
