Joe and I were very dear friends in our young adulthood. We shared many great times together. When my Father passed away, Joe was the first friend I called. He immediately left work and came to our home, where the passing occurred. He stood outside with me while the paramedics made their attempts and took to his home while my dad was being taken from the house. During the following months, Joe was always there to listen, laugh and cry with. On his days off he'd help me keep my young son busy and make sure we were doing alright. I will always treasure my friendship with, Joe. Our shared love of our pet dachshunds, old homes and all of the laughing we did at things only we would find funny. He will always be remembered as a gentle, kind friend with a fantastic sense of humor.
