Libous, Alice T. Port Dickinson: Alice T. Libous, 97, of Port Dickinson, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012, after a full and happy life. She was predeceased by her parents, Sadie and Samuel Lebous; her husband, George Libous; daughter, Barbara Libous Jurena; granddaughter, Niveen Jurena; brother, David and Selma Lebous; sister, Martha Lebous; brother-in-law, Louis Yaman. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Sally Libous, Endwell; sister, Mary Yaman, Cortland; grandchildren, Cathy Libous, Michael Jurena, Mary Ellen and Howard Rosenberg, Nicole and Dr. Todd Purvis; great-grandchildren, Sam and Jack Rosenberg, Trey and Jake Purvis, Isabel Jurena; many loving members of the Lebous and Libous and extended families. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Church, Binghamton, a retired employee of Kroehler Mfg. Co., past President of the Knight of Columbus Auxiliary. She resided at Good Shepherd-Fairview Home for five years. She enjoyed arts and crafts and many outings from the home. She loved to cook and bake. Many thanks to the staff at 3 ACF at Good Shepherd-Fairview Home and also Thank You for the wonderful care at Lourdes Hospital by the staff of Seton 3, especially Marcia and Dr. Santani. Funeral services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main St., Binghamton, Friday at 9:30 a.m. and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Church, Binghamton, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Alice may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
